Since 2004 Nora K. has designed, produced, and sold hundreds of original, one-of-a-kind pieces of functional fabric art including women's bags, dolls, and clothing.

Nora K.'s signature bags are designed in three basic styles: character, elegant, and vintage. Each and every piece reflects her distinctive style and passion for creating beautiful products, expertly crafted with the finest hand-selected fabrics available.

Her character bags feature unusual combinations of chenille and other high-end fabrics adorned with playful creatures of Nora K.'s own design. These illustrative fabric renderings of children and animals, presented alone or in combination, are engaged in moments of rapture--either in relation to each other or alone in their environments. Single words or simple phrases provide a narrative context for each work.

A world view emphasizing growth and rejuvenation is expressed symbolically through Nora K.'s use of flowers, her palette of primarily earth tones accented by splashes of bright colors, and her soft, sensual textures. The spiritual and emotional tone of her work reflect the gaiety and innocence of childhood, the life affirming act of spontaneous, imaginative free play, a deep respect for and appreciation of animals, and the importance of connection through relationships.

Nora K.'s products have been sold in boutiques including Tops in Malibu, Ten Women in Santa Monica, and Poco Andante, her exclusive representative in Japan, based in Osaka.
